The Financial Risk of High Speed Rail
The California High Speed Rail has made several attempts at provide a viable business plan that identifies a secure source of funding for the construction of the project and also identifies a plan for operation and maintenance of the project that is void of subsidies.  Every Business Plan submitted has been rejected by legislature. 

Member of the Community Coalition on High Speed Rail (CC-HSR) have published several reports that highlight the issues with the financial viability of this project.  These reports were produced by:
